Terms of Service
TableWeaver Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of TableWeaver websites, applications, and related services.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using TableWeaver, you agree to these Terms and to the TableWeaver Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
TableWeaver is a platform for tabletop roleplaying game masters and players to manage and share digital table assets, including maps, handouts, quest information, combat status, display views, and related session materials.
TableWeaver is currently offered as a free beta. Features, limits, availability, storage behavior, moderation behavior, and supported file types may change during the beta period.
3. Eligibility and United States availability
You must be at least 13 years old to use TableWeaver. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use TableWeaver only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
TableWeaver is currently intended for users located in the United States. You are responsible for following laws that apply to your use of the service.
4. Accounts and Google OAuth
TableWeaver currently supports Google OAuth as its login method. You are responsible for maintaining access to and security of the Google account you use to sign in. You are also responsible for activity that occurs through your TableWeaver account.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to notify us at support@tableweaver.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not share, sell, transfer, or use another person’s account without permission, and you may not create accounts to evade enforcement, moderation, suspension, storage limits, or access restrictions.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you upload, create, or store in TableWeaver.
“User Content” includes campaign notes, maps, handouts, images, PDFs, scene information, player names, encounter data, quest data, combat state, viewer links, display tokens, and other materials you upload, enter, generate, or manage through TableWeaver.
You grant TableWeaver a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, copy, process, scan, moderate, transmit, display, and otherwise use your User Content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, support, moderate, and improve the service; comply with law; enforce these Terms; and as otherwise permitted by you.
We will not use your campaign content for marketing, public examples, product demonstrations, AI training, or other external purposes without your express written permission.
6. Your responsibilities for content
You are responsible for your User Content and for making sure you have the rights needed to upload, store, and share it through TableWeaver. Do not upload or share content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights of others.
TableWeaver is designed for tabletop play. It is not intended as a permanent archival service, backup service, file locker, or public distribution platform for copyrighted books, adventures, art packs, software, or other third-party materials.
You are responsible for making sure your User Content is appropriate for the people you share it with, including players who may be minors. You may not use TableWeaver to upload, store, display, or share adult, pornographic, sexually explicit, exploitative, non-consensual, or otherwise NSFW content.
7. Viewer links and table displays
TableWeaver may let you create viewer links, display URLs, viewer tokens, or similar access methods for player-facing displays. Anyone with access to a valid viewer link or token may be able to view content made available through that link. You are responsible for controlling who receives those links and for rotating or disabling access if a link is shared more broadly than intended.
Viewer links and display views are intended for tabletop game use and are not public publishing, file-sharing, or content-distribution tools. We may restrict, expire, disable, or revoke viewer links or display access if needed to protect the service, enforce these Terms, respond to abuse, or address legal or safety concerns.
Content that is pending review, quarantined, rejected, removed, or disabled may not be available through viewer links or display views.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use TableWeaver for illegal, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes;
- Upload malware, exploit code, or content designed to disrupt systems;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to TableWeaver, other accounts, infrastructure, or data;
- Interfere with, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the service;
- Use TableWeaver to harass, threaten, dox, stalk, abuse, or impersonate others;
- Upload, create, store, display, or share pornographic, sexually explicit, exploitative, non-consensual, intimate, or otherwise adult/NSFW content;
- Upload, create, store, display, or share content that sexualizes, exploits, abuses, harms, or appears to depict minors in a sexual or exploitative context;
- Upload, create, store, display, or share content involving child sexual abuse material, child sexual exploitation, or attempts to solicit, groom, exploit, or endanger minors;
- Upload or share realistic graphic gore, extreme violence, or content designed primarily to shock or harm viewers, except for ordinary non-explicit fantasy violence appropriate to tabletop gaming;
- Upload or share content that promotes hatred, violence, or harassment against protected groups;
- Use TableWeaver to distribute content you do not have the right to share;
- Use TableWeaver as a public file-sharing service, piracy service, or archive for copyrighted books, adventures, art packs, software, or other third-party materials;
- Attempt to bypass, evade, disable, mislead, or interfere with content moderation, safety scanning, storage limits, access controls, security controls, or rate limits; or
- Encourage, assist, or enable another person to violate these Terms.
9. Content moderation, safety scanning, and enforcement
TableWeaver may use automated systems, third-party service providers, and manual review to scan, classify, moderate, or review uploaded or shared content for safety, abuse prevention, policy enforcement, security, and legal compliance.
Uploaded content may be placed in a pending or quarantined state while moderation checks are performed. Content that is flagged may be approved, rejected, hidden, disabled, deleted, retained for review, or escalated depending on the results and the circumstances.
We may remove or disable access to User Content and may suspend, limit, or terminate accounts if we believe content or account activity violates these Terms, creates legal or safety risk, harms users, threatens the service, or may expose TableWeaver or others to liability.
If content appears to involve child sexual abuse, child exploitation, threats of harm, illegal activity, or other serious safety issues, we may preserve, disclose, or report relevant information to service providers, law enforcement, child-safety organizations, or other appropriate parties where required or permitted by law.
Moderation tools are not perfect. We do not guarantee that all prohibited content will be detected or that all allowed content will avoid moderation. You remain responsible for your User Content and your use of the service.
10. Reporting abuse or content concerns
If you believe content or activity on TableWeaver violates these Terms, infringes your rights, involves exploitation or harm, or creates a safety concern, contact us at support@tableweaver.app. Please include enough information for us to understand and investigate the concern.
We may ask for additional information before taking action. We may also decline to act where we cannot verify the issue, where the reported content does not violate these Terms, or where action is not legally or technically practical.
11. Copyright and intellectual property complaints
TableWeaver respects intellectual property rights. If you believe User Content available through TableWeaver infringes your copyright, trademark, or other rights, contact us at support@tableweaver.app with information identifying the content, the rights you believe are infringed, and how we can contact you.
We may remove or disable access to content that appears to infringe another person’s rights, and we may limit or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe or misuse third-party content.
12. No AI content generation or AI training
TableWeaver currently has no AI content-generation features. TableWeaver does not use your User Content to train AI models.
Automated content moderation, safety scanning, abuse prevention, and security review are used to operate and protect the service. These safety and moderation activities are not permission for us to use your campaign content for AI training, marketing, public examples, or product demonstrations.
13. Free beta and future paid features
TableWeaver is currently offered as a free beta. We may add paid plans, donations, subscriptions, supporter features, storage limits, moderation limits, upload limits, or other monetization later. If paid features are introduced, the applicable payment terms and privacy disclosures will be provided before those features are made available.
14. Third-party services
TableWeaver may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, analytics, storage, logging, security, email, content moderation, safety scanning, abuse prevention, and other infrastructure. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
15. Service changes, suspension, and termination
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of TableWeaver at any time, especially during the beta period. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the service or other users, attempted to bypass moderation or security controls, or used the service in a harmful or unlawful way.
You may stop using TableWeaver at any time. You may request account or content deletion by contacting support@tableweaver.app. Some information may be retained where needed for backups, security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of these Terms.
16. Feedback
If you provide ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback about TableWeaver, you grant us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
17. Intellectual property
TableWeaver, including its name, logo, interface, code, design, and branding, is owned by TableWeaver or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of TableWeaver or permission to use TableWeaver branding except as allowed by us in writing.
18. Disclaimers
TableWeaver is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, that content will never be lost, or that moderation systems will detect every prohibited upload. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important campaign materials.
19. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TableWeaver will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, moderation decisions, content removal, account suspension, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TableWeaver’s total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to TableWeaver for the service during the three months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.
20. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TableWeaver from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your User Content, your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement or misappropriation of another person’s rights.
21. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and, where state law applies, the laws of the U.S. state where TableWeaver is principally operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as TableWeaver changes. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of TableWeaver after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
